Uganda DanceSport Federation

The Uganda DanceSport Federation is a National sports federation governing and promoting DanceSport disciplines in Uganda. It was founded in 2018 and its Headquarters at Namirembe, Balintuma Road, Kampala, Uganda.

UDSF is affiliated first to its international body, the World DanceSport Federation-WDSF, National Council of Sports-NCS and Uganda Olympic Committee-UOC.

DanceSport is the activity that combines sport, dance and music and that allows the participants to improve physical fitness and mental well-being, to form social relationships and to obtain results in competition at all levels.

UDSF organizational structure is topped by the General Assembly followed by the Board of Trustees then the Executive Committee which appoints heads of the different Commissions and lastly the Associations which operate on ground to regulate and develop DanceSport in Uganda for the benefit of all competitive dance athletes.

DanceSport values Integrity, Respect for one another, Proactiveness, Accountability, Transparency and Inclusiveness of all persons.

UDSF 2020-2024 Strategic Plan

The 2020 – 2024 UDSF strategic plan has been developed to act as a guide that will enable all DanceSport stakeholders to work together and follow the same road map to achieve our vision.

UDSF is grateful to; the WDSF President Shawn Tay his visionary leadership of DanceSport in all continents.

William and the entire team at UOC for organizing the sports administration and management course that built the capacity to do this strategic plan.

The National Council of Sports (NCS) Chairman Board of Directors Dr. Donald Rukare for being an exemplary role model of a sports administrator in Uganda.
