Here’s who and how to watch at the first ever Africa Breaking Championship coming to Rabat , Morocco, where top B-Boy and B-Girl can earn to their slots at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The new Olympic sport of breaking will finally make a Games debut at Paris 2024. But first, the B-Boys and B-Girls have to qualify.
Their journey continues in Morooco capital, Rabat this weekend. The Mohammed V Theater will see the top athletes bringing their best moves to the dance floor on 12th and 13th April 2023 as part of the continental Breaking for Gold World Series.
It’s the second continental Breaking for Gold World Series event of the year, after the first one held in Almeria, Spain.
During two days, top athletes will compete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Breaking will make its debut for the first time in history. This major tournament will be an opportunity for them to raise the banner of African Breakdance even higher.
Some of the Top breaking Ugandan athletes Ndawula Ronald (B-Boy Ndawula), Ziraye Samuel (B-Boy Saman) and Opio Steven (B-Boy Pencil mc) will all appear at this continental level to battle their way to Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Aerobic Sports, Fitness, Hip Hop and Related Disciplines, under the aegis of the WDSF, the WDSF Breaking Continental Championship Africa will bring together B-Boys and B-Girls from all over the continent.
* Over the course of two days, elite athletes will compete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Breaking will make its debut for the first time in history. This major tournament will be an opportunity for them to raise the standard of African Breakdance even higher.
Scheduled in the capital of the Kingdom, the event will include:
– Eliminatory phases on Friday, May 12 at 4 pm.
– Final phases on Saturday, May 13 at 4 pm.
