Uganda DanceSport Goes Global

Uganda DanceSport Federation (UDSF) will be officially inducted into the international scene at the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) Annual General Assembly that will have 92 member countries on Sunday.

The competitive ballroom dancing sport broke into the Ugandan scene with different dance forms of barely dance, gymnastics, Latin America (Samba) and harmonic standard dances showcased.

Uganda became the 6th African country to join the list of countries already engaged in the sport on the continent alongside South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon.

Barnabas Ssebuyungo, the UDSF General Secretary, says it’s a great opportunity to see the local federation recognized worldwide hence this will take the sport further.
