The Uganda DanceSport Federation (UDSF) over the weekend held successful awareness workshops in the Eastern region in parts of Teso, Bugisu, Budaka, Iganga and Buikwe.
The workshops majorly aiming at creating awareness of the newly born sport in the country, attracted over 45 dancers who formed 24 crews confined in three associations.
UDSF General secretary Barnabas Sebuyungo, Reagan Egulwa (USDF Administrator) and Gerrard Kavuma (in charge of schools competitions) facilitated the workshops hosted at Dream House, Cape Royale and camp resort.
The different associations and crews were tipped on how to benefit from the sport through registering and forming organized associations by establishing leadership structures both at crew and regional levels.
