The National Council of Sports (NCS) has welcomed and integrated a new phenomenon in the game in the name of Dancesport. The new body dubbed Uganda Dance Sport Federation (UDSF) which brings a total of 52 Sports disciplines that are internationally recognized.
The Dance Sport Federation, affiliated to NCS, involves different dance forms of Ballet dance, gymnastics, rhythmical Latin America dances (Samba) and harmonic Standard Dances.
