The UDSF Breaking For Gold is one of the most prestigious annual Breaking DanceSport Championship in Uganda organized by the Uganda DanceSport Federation and contested by Top 32 National Breaking Athletes, deciding the battle winners through a round robin group stage to qualify for another Top 16 round robin group staged battles to qualify for a double round knockout quarter and semifinal and climaxed by a three round final battle.
The UDSF Breaking For Gold was initiated in the second half of the year 2021. It is recorded as the first UDSF DanceSport championship ever organized by the Uganda DanceSport Federation.
All Breaking Athletes battle first in their respective regionals to qualify before making it to the Top 32 athletes who compete at the UDSF National Breaking for Gold Championship.
All active Breaking athletes (Boys and Girls) are eligible to battle their way to the World Breaking Championship through the UDSF National Breaking for Gold Championship.
The first and current UDSF National Breaking for Gold Champions are Bboy Ndawula (Ndawula Ronald) and Bgirl Sophia (Kawala Sophia) following winning gold medals at the UDSF National Breaking for Gold Championship 2022. The first UDSF National Breaking for Gold Championship was a one day event held on 11th September 2022 at St Julian High School- Gayaza.
