Uganda DanceSport Federation (UDSF) has embarked on a licensing program for athletes poised to feature in any of the upcoming international qualifying competitions and World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) organized games.
The Licensing program will serve as a tool for both the development and benchmarking of professional dancers who will have to comply with certain criteria to participate in the WDSF organized competitions.
The move will hence ensure that dancers comply with the criteria before they are issued with annual renewable licenses to feature in any international events at the start of every year.
UDSF General secretary Ssebuyungo Barnabas told ChimpReports that the federation, for starters is issuing out licenses for all athletes who will be participating in the locally organized championships for Break Dancing, HipHop, Latin and Popping.
