The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has included DanceSport among it’s annual competitions held annually across the country.
This follows a successful meeting between USSSA president Patrick Okanya, Uganda DanceSport Federation (UDSF) general secretary Sebuyungo Barnabas and schools committee representative Gerrard Kavuma last week.
The meeting was intended to push for inclusion of DanceSport in the schools competitions, adding to the already existing disciplines such as Football, Netball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Rugby 15s and Hockey.
Initially, USSSA looked at having cultural entertainment during their annual national ball games.
