Sophia defeated Mukono High School’s Bgirl Mico (Magezi Miracle) to take the crown with Ndawula denying Northern Uganda’s finest to take gold in the men’s final against Bboy Benja (Okello Benjamin).

Sophia added the National title to her Secondary School Games crown at the UDSF Breaking For Gold National Championship at St Julian High School -Gayaza on Sunday (11 September 2022) with Ndawula taking men’s gold🥇.
Kazo Secondary School’s B-Girl Sophia got the better of Mukono High School’s Magezi Miracle – aka B-Girl Mico – in the final over three rounds, with the pair hugging after they had laid down their best moves.
Experience showed with the judges giving her the final round 5-0 which saw her go on to win the 🥇 gold medal.
In the bronze 🥉 medal decider, Bgirl Denisha (Nabukenya Sylvia) beat up coming Bgirl Sharifah (Nassazi Sharifah) with the younger performer certainly one to watch ahead of the UDSF Secondary School DanceSport Championship 2023 representing Mbogo Mixed Secondary School.
Breaking National title – men’s results
In the men’s battle, fresh moves from Bboy Ndawula stole the show as he beat Northern Uganda’s finest Bboy Benja to top spot.
Both athletes showed extreme musical and technical qualities throughout the 3 action-packed rounds.
Ndawula won 4-1 to claim his first National Breaking title.
Wakiso Region defending champion B-Boy Saman (Ziraye Samuel, struggled to defeated Bboy Jogo (Kimuli Frank) for bronze.
The UDSF Breaking For Gold Championship will return in 2023 with the top 32 athletes to battle it out for the prestigious National tittle.
